Why 6082-T6 Aluminium?
6082-T6 is a heat-treated, structural-grade aluminium known for its excellent strength-to-weight ratio. It machines cleanly and holds tight tolerances, making it ideal for lightweight CNC fasteners with consistent thread quality.
Anodising provides a hard surface layer that protects against corrosion and abrasion while allowing a wide range of finish colours. It's well suited for fairings, screens, fuel caps and other low-stress fixings where weight saving and visual finish matter.
